Announcing Wyatt Jay Anderson

We have some exciting news! If you've been following along on my social media accounts, then you already know, as the cat's been out of the bag for a bit now. My blog has been quite neglected with everything going on, for that, I apologize. I am excited to announce that Wes and I are expecting our first child, a little boy, this June! Family and friends have been eagerly awaiting this news for the past ten years, lol. We are beyond excited and cannot wait to meet our precious little one.

Already he looks just like his daddy did as a baby and is a little spitfire, so we're going to have our hands full no doubt.

Blue and I have maintained somewhat of a routine of light work. I am still riding on nice days, but mostly it's transitioned to ground-work and in-hand these past few weeks. He's such a saint of a horse. I do have a lofty aspiration of making the final schooling show hosted by BDS in Bozeman this September at training level. I think it's a fair goal to aim for, but it is also a very loose goal, we will see how I feel, how Wyatt is doing and where Blue is at. Overall I'm pretty pleased having been able to keep both of us somewhat fit during this pregnancy, it sure has been a doosey.. I also know that I will need to extend myself a fair amount of grace after Wyatt gets here, but I am excited nonetheless and looking forward to the adventure.
